Fettuccine vs Tagliolini
Same flat egg ribbon, graded by width. Tagliolini is the narrow one, barely wider than a strand, made for delicate sauces and broths. Fettuccine is the broader Roman cut, wide enough to carry butter and cream. When in doubt, the thinner ribbon is tagliolini.
