The difference

Anellini vs Acini di pepe

Both are small soup shapes, but anellini is a little ring and acini di pepe is a solid bead the size of a peppercorn. Anellini is the Sicilian one baked into timballo, acini di pepe is the speck for clear broths and frog eye salad.
